Lapis Lazuli is an opaque blue color with light blue streaks. Lapis lazuli is composed of several minerals in very small quantities. Some gem experts consider lapis lazuli to be a rock, not a mineral. In the highest quality, the color is evenly distributed with spots or stripes.
