Fashion Ring Description

This striking ring features an eagle carved in yellow gold on the top, accented by a flush set diamond, and complemented by additional yellow gold carvings on the shoulders of the engraved sterling silver band. Band Design

The band is narrowest across the bottom, maintaining a consistent width up to the mid-point on each side. After that, it begins to widen, eventually extending to wrap around the round, flat surface at the top. The band is made of sterling silver that’s been oxidized to produce the rich black color seen here.

It’s also been carved in an organic style, with a rough texture at the bottom that’s reminiscent of wood grain. On the shank shoulders, a more clear design depicting leaves and vines emerges, and this complements perfectly the figures carved in yellow gold that rest there. Fashion Rings

Carved Gold and Diamond Accent

The main carving in this ring covers almost the entire top surface, and it’s a figure of an eagle clutching a scroll. The eagle’s head is angled to look back over its shoulder, and one wing is extended as if the bird is ready to take flight. A star shape overlaps the back portion of the bird’s body and tail, and a 0.02 carat round diamond is flush set within it. The sparkle of the diamond stands out despite its small size thanks to the contrast with the warm tones of the 14k yellow gold and the rich black of the band.

On one shank shoulder, a book of wisdom is carved in yellow gold, and a mother eagle feeding her babies is displayed on the other. All of these carvings are exquisitely detailed, and those details are given further clarity thanks to the contrasting brushed and polished finishes used.
