This stunning engagement ring features a large oval diamond in the center of a pave set diamond halo, with additional diamond pave accents running down the white gold shank below. Center Setting and Halo

At the top of this ring, an oval diamond is beautifully displayed in a four-prong setting that rises just above the surrounding halo. The stone is positioned so that it crosses the band lengthwise, letting it sit in line with the finger when worn. This arrangement helps to highlight both the size and the lovely shape of the diamond, and it produces a lovely classical feel for the ring as well.

A halo of pave set diamonds surrounds the center, and the diamonds extend even onto the side surfaces of the halo as well. This produces an extra glamorous flair, and the added light reflected up onto the center from the surrounding stones helps to increase the brilliance of the larger diamond's sparkle as well. Diamond Pave Accents

The top half of the band is also covered with pave set diamond accents, and these begin right at the spot where the shank shoulders meet the halo. This gives a sense of continuity to the design, with the choice of the pave setting enhancing that element by minimizing the amount of metal visible between the stones.
