Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round blue sapphire at the center of a three-stone setting, with round aquamarines on either side, and diamond accents on the wrapped white gold shank. It was created for a client from Mount Kisco, NY, who went through the Ring Builder feature on our website to share his initial ideas about the type of ring he’d like for his fiancee-to-be.

After seeing some early examples of the type of piece we could make for him based on the features he selected, he added some inspiration rings and asked if we could work some of the elements in these pieces into his as well. We reworked our models, and after a few more minor tweaks, he settled on the lovely, timeless design seen here. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Three-stone Setting

The one thing our client was sure about from the beginning was that he wanted the main stone in the ring to be a blue sapphire, with a smaller aquamarine on either side. He was open to different options for the shape of these stones, and he finally settled on round cuts for all three.

The dazzling blue sapphire in the center of this ring is 1.05 carats, and it’s prong set in 14k white gold. The aquamarines beside it introduce a lovely contrast, and they function as somewhat of a bridge between the rich, deep blue of the sapphire and the sparkling white of the diamonds and white gold that make up the rest of the piece.

Shank Design and Diamond Accents

The shank itself is a single, graceful piece that widens only slightly as it reaches the top of the ring, where it wraps around one side of the center setting from each direction. This creates a perfect frame for the three stones at the top, and the wrapped ends of the shank are both lined with bright cut set diamond accents to complete the look. Three Stone Engagement Rings
