This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top, surrounded by an angular halo of bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain, and accented by additional bright cut set diamonds and filigree on the split white gold band below. Center Diamond and Halo

The centerpiece of this design is a 1.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in an 18k white gold setting made up of four rounded prongs. These prongs rise up from the spaces between the corners of the halo and the diamond itself, lifting the larger stone and helping to accentuate its elegant curves. Halo Engagement Rings

The halo itself is roughly square in shape, with cropped corners that bring an angular aspect to the design of the center setting. This arrangement helps to emphasize the size and perfect curves of the center stone, and it adds some vintage overtones to the piece as well. Diamond Engagement Rings

Diamond and Filigree Accents

Lines of bright cut set diamonds run along both strands of the split shank, starting at the sides of the halo and continuing down to the spot where those two strands come together. This occurs at about the mid-point on each side, and the band continues to taper modestly after that, eventually reaching its narrowest point across the bottom of the ring.

A larger round diamond is prong set across the widest point of the split on each side, echoing the center stone and brining a nice balance to the design. All of the bright cut set diamond accents, both in the halo and on the shank, are lined with milgrain beading, and scroll filigree brings an ornate and open feel to the ring fronts to help complete the vintage design.
