Fashion Ring Description

This stunning ladies’ fashion ring features a radiant cut aquamarine bezel set in white gold, with diamond, milgrain, filigree, and custom hand-engraved accents on the two-tone shank below. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, and we made another similar piece for her at the same time. She began the custom design process by bringing in an existing piece that she wanted to base the design off of, and we worked with her to ensure we had every detail perfect on the finished piece. Center Setting and Diamond Accents

At the center of this ring is a 4.38 carat radiant cut aquamarine, and it’s bezel set in the compass position, with two corners inline with the band. This plays beautifully off of the angular facet arrangement within the stone to give it an almost star-like quality, and it creates a much more elegant look for the ring as a whole.

The 14k white gold the stone is set in contrasts subtly with its delicate blue color, helping to enhance its shine and highlight its natural beauty. A line of milgrain beading also runs around the perimeter of the setting, framing the stone perfectly. As a finishing touch, a round diamond is bright cut set just off of the top and bottom corners of the aquamarine to add a touch of brilliance and glamour. Fashion Rings

Two-tone Design and Filigree

The entire top of the ring is made from white gold, but the majority of the shank is 14k yellow gold, which creates a great two-tone look and also introduces an additional contrast to the design. The band is straight and flat most of the way around, but it does split and widen just a bit as it nears the center setting.

The space created by this split is filled with a beautiful floral filigree made from 14k white gold, and this same detail is present on the basket that encloses the bottom of the center setting. In this part of the ring, only the outlines of the structure are made from yellow gold, creating a lovely intermixing of colors and helping to more clearly highlight each detail.
