Morganite Center

The centerpiece of this design is a 1.34 carat oval morganite that’s prong set in 14k rose gold. Its delicate peachy-pink color is complemented beautifully by the warm tones of the metal, and the elongated shape of the oval cut only serves to enhance the delicacy of the design.

This is a unique piece in many respects, and perhaps the most obvious is the way the center stone is set. It lies inline with the band rather than perpendicular to it, which is a more common placement for an oval center stone. This allows the morganite to completely cover the top of the finger when the ring is worn, making it appear even larger than it is and ensuring its place as the central focus of the piece.

Diamond Halo and Accents

Surrounding the morganite is a contoured halo of split prong set small white diamonds, and these bring a striking contrast to the piece while helping to reinforce its classical overtones. Tying in with the halo are the lines of split prong set diamonds that run about one-third of the way down each shank shoulder, and these taper slightly along with the band itself. Fashion Rings
