Tension Set Diamond

The lone gemstone in this pendant is a 1.10 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s tension set right at the bottom of the 18k white gold ring that makes up the body of the piece. The diamond is wider than the ring, allowing it to extend significantly beyond the metal on either side, and this helps to reinforce its central position in the design.

Pendant Design

The ring that makes up the body of this pendant is wide and domed, with a smooth, polished surface that highlights its elegant curves. The only break in the ring occurs right at the bottom where the diamond sits, and the perfectly round shape of the stone echoes the contours of the ring nicely.
