This striking ring features engraving of earth and sky on an oxidized sterling silver band, accented with carved rose gold depicting a dragon, a fox and a lion. A bezel set diamond provides the finishing touch. Ring Design

The band of the ring is narrowest at the bottom, and it widens gradually moving up the sides until just above the mid-point, where it begins to expand more rapidly. The lower portion of the band is domed, and it’s engraved in an organic style with a pattern that resembles wood grain.

A smooth, curved band separates this lower portion of the band from the top, where grassy fields and a twilight sky with a setting sun dominate the shank shoulders. The very top of the band is flat, with subtle embellishments flowing across its slightly squared surface. The entire ring is black thanks to the oxidation of the sterling silver it’s made from.

Carved Gold Designs

On the top of the ring, an ornate dragon is depicted in relief in carved 14k rose gold. This adds dynamic character to the piece, and the contrast between the rich black of the band and the warm shine of the metal helps highlight the exquisite detail on each section. Bezel Set Diamond

A 0.05 carat round diamond is bezel set in sterling silver on the top of the ring, off to the side of the dragon. This adds a glamorous sparkle, as well as another color dynamic to the design, and it brings along a mystical quality as well. To clarify the details of the carved gold figures further, sandblasted and polished finishes are both utilized.
