Engagement Ring Description

This spectacular engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set atop a criss-cross white gold shank, accented with bright cut and bezel set diamonds, custom hand engraving, and milgrain beading. Center Diamond

In the center of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong white gold setting that seems to blossom naturally from the dynamic shank below. The open sides of the setting give a good view of the diamond from every angle, and the curvature of the prongs complements the movement of the strands in the band nicely. Diamond Engagement Rings

Band Design

The two strands on each side of the center that make up the shank shoulders seem to grow directly out of the lower part of the prongs in the center setting. These then move towards each other, meeting briefly before moving away again in an organic-style wave design. The strands become thicker as they move away from the center as well, and they narrow again as they approach the bezel set diamond about a quarter of the way down each side. The lower portion of the band begins as a straight piece across the bottom, but it widens a bit moving towards each side before splitting into two strands. These strands move away from each other and then come back in to cross over each other just before they intersect with that same bezel set diamond on each shank shoulder.

Diamond Accents and Hand Engraving

Both the top and bottom portions of the band are lined with bright cut set diamond accents, and the only part of the band they don’t cover is the very bottom. Including the two larger bezel set diamonds on the shank shoulders, the ring includes 112 accent stones, and these combine to total 0.21 carats.

Both ring fronts are covered with delicate hand engraving in a vaguely floral pattern that works well with the overall organic themes of the piece. Milgrain beading runs through this hand-engraved pattern, and it lines the remaining edges of the ring fronts, as well as the accent diamonds on the top of the band.
