As a young man, Joseph was introduced to the jewelry industry by an older cousin and began his career with a mentorship from a master goldsmith-jeweler. Eventually, his training led him to Indianapolis, and he began to plan the opening of his new business.
In 1993, Joseph and his brother, Danny, began to design fine jewelry for the eventual opening of their own jewelry business. They found the perfect location in the heart of Old Bellevue on Main Street. The doors opened in 1996, and although the team has grown, the brothers still design and create using intellectual and intuitive concepts.
Today, the team at Joseph Jewelry includes several craftsmen, a master hand-engraver, a gemstone specialist, CAD designers, and a full sales and marketing team. Working together, we give you an amazing, enjoyable custom fine jewelry experience that ends with the jewelry piece of your dreams.

David T. - Virginia - September 2013 - GoogleAfter searching extensively, I recently found and purchased an engagement ring for my fiance (Michelle) at Joseph Jewelry. My fiance and I had discussed rings previously, just so I could try to find out what really appealed to her without being too direct, and this one met all the criteria. It is truly perfect and seems as if it were designed specifically for us. The ring was going to be presented during a "surprise" proposal to my beloved, and the event had to be just right. I have to admit that there were several challenges which, to be quite honest, had me concerned about whether it would all come together as planned. Issues like: I was living in Virginia and my fiance in Washington; I couldn't actually travel to the shop to discuss the design; everything had to be done via phone/internet; issues came up that caused a time crunch at the last minute, etc., etc. I called and e-mailed Danny and Bonnie at the store many times, as things continued to change, and with every change they were able to adjust and even help me with other aspects of the evening so that it went off without a hitch. Needless to say, the proposal was better than either of us expected. As desert was brought to the table so were two dozen red roses. I turned to Michelle and recited a few lines, then went down on one knee and presented her with the ring as I asked her if she would do me the honor of being my wife. She said yes (several times) and then we received an applause for our efforts from the other restaurant patrons. It was truly a night we will remember forever. She was (and still is) in complete awe of the ring and now we're working on the wedding band design to match it. I can't thank the staff at Joseph Jewelry enough for, not only the design and beautiful craftsmanship of the ring, but also the patience, customer care and assistance with every other aspect of the evening. Especially, thanks to Danny and Bonnie...thank you, thank you, thank you!! I couldn't have done it without you!
