Custom Two-tone White Quartz Pendant

Pendant Description

This exquisite pendant features two round white quartz set in a yellow gold infinity symbol, with a white gold heart shape rising above. It was created for a client from Kent, WA, who contacted us online and then visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to get the custom design process started.

She had some existing stones and a chain, and she asked that we design a pendant that could both incorporate the stones and complement the chain. She shared some images of what she was envisioning as well, and we created a CAD model of what we proposed to build. She requested some slight modifications to the outline before approving it to send into production, and our team of skilled artisans executed the design to perfection.

Bezel Set Quartz

There are two round quartz half bezel set in 14k yellow gold that act to center this piece. They are arranged with each at one end of a vertical infinity symbol, and their lovely white color contrasts nicely with the thin line of yellow gold surrounding them.

The client provided these stones, which she had received as a gift, and creating the perfect setting for them was the driving force behind her initiation of the project. The top stone measures 7.3mm in diameter, while the other is slightly larger, coming in at 7.9mm. This positioning of the gems with the larger one at the bottom helps give the pendant a nice balance even though the size difference is not obvious to the casual observer.

Two-tone Pendant

A stylized heart shape intersects the infinity symbol where it crosses over itself, and from there, the heart rises up to create a loop at the top that ultimately accommodates the chain. The heart is made of 14k white gold, and that introduces a two-tone dynamic to the pendant that really helps highlight the various aspects of the design. Design Your Own Jewelry

The chain itself was also provided by the client, and the fact that it’s somewhat chunky also dictated the shape of the pendant to some degree. The client wanted the chain to pass directly through the loop of the heart at the top rather than connecting through a separate bale, and so we built our design to accommodate her request.
