Custom Bracelet Charm
Item #101163Bracelet / Charm Description
While his girlfriend was not a fan of engagement rings, she and our client shared a love of the computer game Portal. This was where our client drew the idea for the charm from, and we developed his design into this beautiful piece. He wanted to make sure every detail was exactly right, and so we collaborated with him extensively online to determine which metals, gems, and other features would create exactly the look he was after.
Cube Design
The charm is a replica of the Companion Cube from Portal, and it measures 10mm on each side. We used black antiquing to create the color contrast that highlights the detailing, which includes a circle in the center and the lines radiating outward that link up with the design on the adjoining side.
Pink Tourmalines
The client was at first hesitant to use gems for the pink hearts, as he wasn’t sure they would be consistent with the look he was trying to achieve. In the end, he accepted our recommendation that they would add to the beauty of the piece, and he was very happy with the way it turned out in the end.
The pink tourmaline hearts seen here were specially cut for this piece to be consistent with the dimensions of the charm. And our clients also chose to use pink tourmaline in the wedding band they eventually made with us as well in order to create a link between the two pieces. Design Your Own Jewelry

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
