These gorgeous stud earrings feature round amethysts prong set in the center of a cushion shaped halo of shared prong set white diamonds. They’re a set full of contrasts and classical themes, and we can work with you to customize them in any number of ways. Once we have a good idea what you’re looking for, our experts will develop a unique design for you in CAD. You can view the proofs of this through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and you can submit feedback on the designs in this way as well. We’ll make any modifications you’d like, and you can even view a wax model of your piece before giving final approval to move things into production. Design Your Own Earrings
Amethyst Centers
At the center of each earring in this set is a round amethyst. The two stones together combine to total 1.52 carats, and their rich purple color contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of the metal they’re set in.
If you like the general outline of these earrings but want to integrate a more personal touch, you can choose a different type of stone to use as the center of the design. Birthstones are a popular choice, and both diamonds and sapphires come in a range of colors, so you can integrate a favorite color easily as well. 100% Satisfaction
Diamond Halos
Small white diamonds are shared prong set in cushion-shaped halos surrounding the center stones, and the rounded corners of these halos line up precisely with the prongs in the center settings. The contrast in shape between the perfectly round amethysts and the more squared halo brings another dimension to the design, while the brilliant white sparkle of the diamonds themselves stand out next to the rich colors of the other elements of the set.

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
