Facet Pave Set Diamonds
The diamonds in these earrings are all round and facet pave set. They combine to total 2.40 carats, and their brilliant sparkle thoroughly dominates the design, bringing a truly glamorous flair to the set.
The facet pave setting leaves very little metal showing around the stones, while the detail it adds to the sides of the earrings brings an intricacy and understated elegance to the set. The openness of these settings also allows plenty of light to reach the diamonds, helping to maximize their brilliance. Earrings
Earring Design
The lines of diamond accents on these pieces are broken only by the finding at the top of the hoop and the joint at the bottom. These are both rotated slightly towards the back of the pieces to allow the diamonds to dominate from the head-on view, as they run down the front curve of the hoops.
Behind the joint on the back portion of each earring, the diamonds run up the inner surface rather than the outer, and this leaves them facing forward as well. Having all of the stones in these pieces visible from the front helps to enhance the classic elegance of the design.
If you’d like to see some contrast in this design, however, you can choose the yellow gold or rose gold varieties, which are also available through Joseph Jewelry.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
