Description
These exquisite dangle earrings feature round black onyx at the bottom with diamond accents, all set in lovely white gold. They were created as an original design for a client from Seattle, WA, who posted images of his inspiration piece and asked us to come up with a variation using the materials he specified. We collaborated with him online to come up with a design that he liked and met all of his specifications.

Black Onyx
The stones at the bottom of these earrings are round black onyx with a soft, rich color. Their shape and weight give the earrings just the right balance, and the rich black of the stones contrasts beautifully with the sparkling white of the diamonds above.
Onyx is associated with courage, power, and the blocking of negative energies. It’s also an accepted birthstone for both February and August, and it makes a dramatically beautiful statement when included in any piece of jewelry.
Accent Diamonds
Extending up from the onyx anchors, the white gold frames of these earrings are studded with accent diamonds, which add a glamorous flair. The first is a single bezel set diamond tucked between two links of the chain, which helps to tie the larger ring of bright cut set diamonds above in with the rest of the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
