Emerald Centers and Diamond Halos
At the center of each earring in this set is a round emerald. The two larger stones together total 0.68 carats, and their striking green color stands out beautifully next to the silvery shine of the metal they’re set in.
Surrounding these emeralds are halos of small, round split prong set diamonds. The halos follow the contours of the emeralds closely, helping to highlight their perfect curves and elegant shape. The diamonds combined also total 0.68 carats, providing a nice visual balance to the design. The use of the split prong setting for these smaller stones also helps highlight their sparkle and minimizes the visual intrusion of the metal surrounding them.
Earring Design and Customization Options
The bodies of these earrings connect to the findings through a loop of metal that extends from the top of the main setting just behind the halo. The front of the finding is plain polished metal, and this allows the earrings to hang just below the ear while maintaining their visual position of prominence. Earrings

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
