18k Rose Gold Morganite And Diamond Halo Earrings

Earrings Description

These elegant earrings feature emerald cut morganites prong set in rose gold with halos of split prong set diamonds and additional diamond accents above. They were created for a client from Trinidad and Tobago who had previously ordered a ring from us in much the same style.

She wanted earrings to go with the ring, and through our custom design process, we were able to provide her with center stones that were a near-perfect match in color. In addition to these earrings, she also ordered a pendant with the same type of morganite in the center, and another set of earrings with trillion shaped morganites.

Morganite Centers

The morganites in this set have a delicate peach color, which is complemented nicely by the 14k rose gold setting. Taken together, these stones total 5.83 carats, and the minimal nature of the setting really shows off the beauty of the cut.

Diamond Halos and Accents

Each morganite is surrounded by a halo of round split prong set diamonds, and these bring a stunning contrast to the piece. They help increase the brilliance of the larger stone by sending more light its way, and they also introduce some classical overtones to the set.

As a finishing touch, split prong set diamonds also line the front of the finding, bringing elegance to the design as well as some added sparkle. This line of accent diamonds ties in with the design of the ring we made for this client previously, as that piece had a line of diamonds running down the shank shoulders to complement the halo as well.
