Earring Design
Both earrings in this set are composed of a single hoop. A joint at the very bottom of the hoop allows the earring to open up so it can be taken on and off with ease, and the finding at the very top consists of a thin bar of metal that maintains the same curvature of the rest of the hoop itself.
Facet Pave Set Diamonds
Round diamonds are facet pave set in a line along the front of each hoop, and these stop right at the edge of the joint at the bottom of the piece. On the other side of that joint, facet pave set diamonds begin again, but this time on the inner surface of the hoop, which is the part that faces forward on that portion of the piece.
This placement of the diamonds keeps their sparkle visible from all angles, and it adds to the intricate nature of the design. The facet pave setting also brings some texture and detail to the sides of the earrings, increasing their visual intricacy, and it’s details like this that help make the pieces in this collection so appealing and timeless. The overall design is created with white diamonds, but adding some color contrast to the design can also create a dynamic look. That’s why these earrings are also available in rose or yellow gold, both of which bring some classical warmth to the set.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
