18k Yellow Gold Peek-a-boo Stud Earrings With Diamonds And Green Amethyst
Item #103697Earrings Description
Earring Design
These earrings are each made up of two pieces, with one attached directly to the post, while the other slides along the post thanks to a hole in the L-shaped piece of metal holding it. The design allows the two main sections of the earring to frame the earlobe, as the L-shaped metal passes behind the ear. The multiple holes in the L-shaped metal also make these earrings adjustable, and they create a truly unique look that’s sure to turn some heads. Earrings
Amethysts and Diamonds
Both main sections of each earring center on a baguette cut light green amethyst. These are surrounded on three sides be a halo of split prong set diamonds, which bring a glamorous sparkle and delicate contrast to the piece. The fourth side is the bottom of the top piece and the top of the bottom piece, which leaves them open as they face each other across the earlobe when the earrings are worn.
There is also a line of milgrain beading running along the margins of the bezel settings holding the amethysts in place, and this brings a hint of vintage flair to the set. The combination of the light green amethyst and the rich tones of the gold produces a lovely classical effect. If you’re looking for something a little different, however, you may decide to go with the white gold version of these earrings, the bright silvery color of which contrasts much more strongly with the delicate green of the larger stones.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
