Peridot Centers
The primary focus of this set is the pair of cushion shaped peridots, each of which comprises the majority of the body of one earring. Combined, these stones weigh exactly two carats, and they’re each prong set in 14k white gold.
The placement of facets on the stones gives them a checkerboard appearance of alternating light and dark sections that change depending on the angle the stones are viewed from. Since these sections are generally square, the checkerboard detail complements the cushion shape of the stones nicely, and it also brings another layer of contrast to the design. Earrings
Diamond Halos
Surrounding each peridot is a halo of split prong set diamonds, and these follow the general outline of the cushion shaped stones, with nearly straight sides and slightly rounded corners. The halos bring a glamorous sparkle to the set, and they help enhance the shine of the peridots by reflecting more light up onto the larger stones.
The halo style is a classical one as well, and so its use here brings a particular aesthetic sensibility to the design. Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
