These stunning custom earrings feature pink sapphires and diamonds set in an Art Deco-inspired pattern. They were created for a client from Kirkland, WA, who wanted to utilize existing gemstones from an heirloom piece of jewelry to create a new pair of earrings. Design Your Own Earrings

Our design team put together a few different options for the dangle earrings. After a few adjustments, the client found a design they liked, and our team set to work to bring it to life.
Floral Halo Design
The aesthetic of the earrings is slightly floral with the way the pink sapphires are set pointing outward, as though it is a blooming flower. Diamonds frame the very center sapphire in a halo and they are set as accents around alternating sapphires around the edges. Approaching the ear, a smaller section features another pink sapphire in a diamond halo with marquise diamonds, and then the final section with the earring post features marquise and pear diamonds. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
