Whether you want to modify these on their own, or you’d like to draw from multiple inspiration pieces to develop your own unique design, our experts are ready to guide you through the process. We’ll create highly-detailed CAD models of your pieces as we propose to make them, and you can view these through the online workroom we’ll set up to manage your project. Once you’re completely satisfied that every detail is perfect on these models, we’ll turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Channel Set Diamonds
All of the diamonds in these earrings are round, and they’re channel set in a line down the front of each piece. This gives a hint of classical charm to a generally contemporary style, and the brilliant sparkle of the diamonds adds some glamour as well.
All together, the diamonds in the set combine to total 0.74 carats, although the size of the stones used is something you could modify during the custom design process. Using both smaller or larger stones would significantly impact the overall appearance of the set, and the right choice for you just depends on your own personal style.
Setting and Metal Options
You could also try to draw out the classical themes in these earrings more by using yellow or rose gold rather than white. Those metals bring a more traditional-feeling warmth to the design, and you could combine that with a bright cut setting style rather than the channel to further explore those themes. Alternately, you could switch to princess cut diamonds in the channel setting to present a seemingly-solid line of diamond and a more modern feel for the set overall.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
