Earring Design
The front portion of these earrings curves outward in a smooth arc, starting at the end of the finding and continuing down to the bottom where it meets the joint. Behind the joint, the earring initially maintains the curvature of the front piece, before straightening slightly and then arching back to meet the opposite end of the finding. The joint at the bottom allows for smooth opening and closing of the finding while keeping the mechanism for this discrete thanks to its placement at the bottom of the hoop.
Facet Pave Set Diamonds
Twelve small round diamonds line the front of both earrings in this set, and all of these diamonds are facet pave set. The facet pave setting allows the sparkle of the diamonds to dominate the front of the pieces, while the intricate metalwork found on the sides gives the set a more classical and delicate feel. All together, the diamonds in this set total 1.50 carats.
These earrings are also available in rose gold and yellow gold varieties, both of which add some contrast and classical warmth to the design. The hoops are relatively small, and so stay close to the ear, extending only modestly beyond the earlobe. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
