Rose Carved Tahitian Pearl And Diamond Pendant
Item #103251Pendant Description
Both of these pieces are part of the Galatea collection we carry here at Joseph Jewelry, and they represent well the tradition of innovation and creative usage of materials that are the hallmarks of work by this designer. All of these designs make great use of light and reflection, while combining a range of materials to continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in fine jewelry design.
Carved Tahitian Pearl
The main pendant body in this piece is made up of an 11mm black Tahitian pearl that’s been carved to resemble a rose. These types of pearls are generally larger than others, making them a good choice for a piece like this which requires such alteration of the pearl’s surface. The rich black color is another unique feature of Tahitian pearls, and this helps to distinguish the design as well while also adding a striking color contrast in relation to the other elements used. Pendant Design and Diamond Accent
At the very center of the indentation, a 0.02 carat round white diamond is bright cut set, and its brilliant white sparkle stands out despite its small size thanks to the contrast with the surrounding materials.
At the top of the pearl, a loop of metal connects the body of the pendant to the tapered bale.. The bale design also helps to highlight the details of the pendant below, as its smooth, polished surface provides a point of contrast to that of the intricately textured pearl.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
