Mother of Pearl and White Gold Overlays
Each earring in this set centers on a round mother of pearl that’s bezel set in 14k white gold. The soft, milky texture of the mother of pearl contrasts beautifully with the silvery shine of the metal, and that relationship is only intensified by the way small tendrils of white gold extend in from the edges to overlay the center. These tendrils vary in length and thickness, and their wave-like movement helps to emphasize the organic elements of the design.
Diamond Accents
Small round diamonds are pave set along four of the tendrils that make up the overlay in each earring. These bring a glamorous sparkle to the design, and they add another layer to the subtle contrast relationship within each piece as well. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
