Center Diamond
The center diamond in this ring is princess cut and 2.15 carats. It’s held in place by four yellow gold prongs, which are a continuation of the rope twist that runs along the edges of the platinum shank below. The prongs also contain the rope detailing, and their warm color contrasts nicely with the sparkling white of the diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
Baguette Diamond Accents
Three baguette diamonds are channel set down each of the shank shoulders, tapering in size as they move away from the center just as the band does. They complement the shape of the center stone nicely, and they add some glamorous flair to the piece.
Rope Twist Detail
While the band itself is made of platinum, a strand of 18k yellow gold runs along each side, framing the inner portion of the ring. These strands are shaped to resemble twisted ropes, and they continue up to form the prongs of the main setting. The use of yellow gold for these hints at a classical element in an otherwise contemporary design, and it also helps the ropes stand out in contrast with the beautiful white color of the platinum and the sparkling brilliance of the diamonds.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
