Bezel Set Center Diamond
At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set in 18k white gold. The bezel setting helps keep the profile of the ring low while simultaneously highlighting the perfect curves of the center stone. A line of milgrain beading also runs along its inner margin, creating a beautiful framing effect and introducing the vintage themes that continue elsewhere in the design. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is narrowest across the bottom, widening gradually as it moves up the sides, and then more dramatically once it nears the center setting. The surface on the lower portion of the band is flat and polished, but this changes just above the mid-point on each side. Here, a line of milgrain beading begins that continues up along the margins of the band all the way to the top. Antique Engagement Rings
A round diamond is bright cut set just above this line of milgrain, and a marquise shape formed from lines of milgrain follows above that diamond. Within the marquise shape are three bright cut set diamonds that taper to fill the space, and several more bright cut set diamonds sit along the margins of the band as it widens close to the top. In the space between these, another round diamond is bezel set, and all of these stones are framed by milgrain, which further cements the vintage style of the design.
On the fronts of the ring, bright cut set diamonds run up along the shank shoulders, tapering to fill the space as they do so. A pear shaped section of metal, also lined with milgrain, sits directly below the main setting on both ring fronts, and these each hold a single bright cut set diamond for a glamorous finishing touch.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
