During that visit, they found a ring they wanted to customize, and so we developed a set of CAD proofs of the ring as we proposed to make it for them. They requested a few different versions so that they could compare them side-by-side, and they visited our showroom one more time in person to view the center diamond and to have a proper sizing done. Center Setting
In the center of this ring, a 0.97 carat round brilliant cut diamond is prong set in 14k white gold. The clients had initially asked for models representing both six prong and four prong arrangements, and after seeing examples of both, they decided to go with the four. The use of white gold for the setting next to the brilliant white of the large diamond helps the latter shine more brightly, accentuating its beauty as well as the prominence of its position in the piece.
Diamond Accents and Two-tone Design
Small round diamonds are shared prong set down both shank shoulders to the mid-point on each side. There are 20 of these all together, and they combine to total 0.20 carats. The use of the shared prong setting style lends a bit of classical flair to the design, and it also keeps the amount of metal on either side of the diamonds to a minimum, helping to enhance the delicate appearance of the band. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle
The band itself is made of 14k rose gold, which creates a nice two-tone look when combined with the white gold center setting. The original set of proofs we provided to the client had the center setting in rose gold and the band in white, but after seeing models of those metals reversed, they decided to go with this arrangement.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
