Engagement Ring Description

This beautiful engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond bezel set in platinum, with hand engraved accents on the tapered shank. The design was developed for our client from Lake Forest Park, WA, who collaborated with our team in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to perfect every aspect of the piece.

Relief Engraving

The engraved portion of this ring, which begins at the sides of the main setting and continues down almost to the bottom of the band, exhibits a beautiful swirling pattern of scrolls. The way that it’s created, with the background carved out and the design on the surface, is considered relief engraving, and it’s quite complicated and time-consuming to execute.

The engraved section in this ring is framed nicely by polished rails, and these continue up to run along either side of the main setting, giving the design a satisfying overall balance.
