14k White Gold Custom Oval Diamond And Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102607Engagement Ring Description
To begin the custom design process, the client provided her inspiration piece, which was an existing ring that she had. She wanted to replicate certain aspects of it, while eliminating other features to create a clean, contemporary design. We shared some CAD images of the piece as we proposed to make it, and she approved them quickly so we could move her rings into production.
Oval Diamond Center
The diamond in the center of this ring is a 1.50 carat oval diamond, and it’s prong set in platinum. The client wanted to make sure the diamond we ordered for her was perfect, and so we arranged for her to come to see and approve it before it was set. Diamond Engagement Rings
We understand that the center stone in your ring is an incredibly important part of the piece. That’s why we’ll always encourage you to approve a stone before we set it, and we can also bring in a few different gems for you to view and compare so you can be sure everything about it is perfect.
Diamond Halo and Accents
A halo of round shared prong set diamonds surrounds the center stone, adding a classical touch to the ring and helping to increase the brilliance of the larger diamond. The halo follows the contours of the center stone as well, forming a perfect oval ring.
Shared prong set diamonds also line the shank shoulders down to the three-quarter point on the band. These tie in nicely with the halo at the top, and they’re the same as the diamonds running around one of the wedding bands, helping to unite the set. The other wedding band also uses this setting style, but the gemstones are blue sapphires rather than diamonds. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
