We took this information and incorporated the various elements he mentioned into a unique design, which he then worked with us to adjust until it was exactly right. He also sent us one of his mother’s rings to use as an inlay in the new piece for a very personal and sentimental touch. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond
Our client initially considered using the diamond from his mother’s ring as well, but after evaluating all of his options, he chose to source it through us. The stone he selected with us is a 0.71 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s cradled beautifully in a four-prong rose gold setting. The setting is open on the fronts of the ring, allowing the full profile of the diamond to show though, and this really helps highlight the stone’s natural beauty. Diamond Engagement Rings
Hand Engraving and Diamond Accents
Five round brilliant cut diamonds are bright cut set running down each shank shoulder, and they gradually increase in size as they move away from the center setting to follow the natural contours of the tapered shank. These add a wonderful sparkle to the piece, while at the same time helping to emphasize the contrast between the brilliant white of the center diamond and the warm, yellow gold that makes up the rest of the band.
The diamonds are framed with milgrain beading, and they also line up perfectly with the diamonds in the companion wedding band to create a truly stunning look when the two are worn together. A beautiful scroll pattern is hand engraved on the lower portion of the shank, beginning just where the diamonds stop and running down to about the three-quarter point. This is lined with milgrain as well, and it’s made to match the engraving on the wedding ring.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
