14k Yellow Gold Blue Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #105712 $4,196 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Sapphire Center
The centerpiece of this design is a 2.58 carat oval blue sapphire, and the rich color of the stone helps create a unique and dramatic look for the piece. The sapphire's elegant lines and lovely sparkle are complemented nicely by the contrast with the silvery shine of the platinum it's set in. The oval shape of the stone also brings a classical feel to the piece even as the use of an alternative center stone takes the ring in a unique direction.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is one solid piece almost all the way around, but it splits into two strands just before reaching the center setting. These two strands then move away from each other as they transition into the prongs holding the sapphire, and an additional strand provides a V-shaped connection between the two prongs on either side of the center setting. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
As a finishing touch, round white diamonds are split prong-set in two rows that begin about two thirds of the way down the band and continue up all the way to the top of the ring. These diamonds continue across the V-shaped strand in the main setting as well, and they bring a lovely sparkle to the ring on their own while also enhancing the contrast between the rich blue of the sapphire and the lighter color of the metal.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
