Diamond Center
A one carat round brilliant cut diamond is the centerpiece for this ring, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four-prong white gold setting that extends gracefully up from the cathedral shank below. Diamonds have long been the preferred gemstone for use in engagement rings, and their brilliant white sparkle as well as their overtones of romantic love add greatly to such an already significant piece. Band Design and Accents
The shank shoulders on this ring are flat and straight, and they maintain that aspect down to about the mid-point on the band. This is where a gradual taper begins, with the band reaching its narrowest point across the bottom of the ring.
On each ring front, criss-crossing strands break off from both sides of the shank shoulders on the underside, and these curve past each other before rising up to become the prongs holding the center diamond. Each of these strands holds a row of round brilliant cut diamonds as well, which bring a decidedly glamorous flair to the design while also helping to highlight the graceful movement of the band.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
