14k Yellow Gold Custom Irradiated Blue Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102161 $4,630 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Stone
The blue diamond at the heart of this piece is marquise cut in a bezel setting, which is then flanked by the split ends of the wrapped shank. The setting compliments the stone’s shape, and it also provides extra protection for the stone itself. The choice of blue diamond for an engagement ring is especially fitting due to the stone’s association with open communication, which is an excellent foundation from which to let your relationship grow.
Accent Gemstones
Two smaller blue diamonds are nestled in the filigree on either side of the center stone in this design, and these serve both to emphasize the center stone and to tie both parts of the ring design together. Similarly, bright cut diamonds run down the shoulders of the shank, and their brilliance provides a fitting counterbalance to the depth of the blue diamond's color.
Hand Engraving and Filigree
The wrap shank of this ring is 14k white gold, hand engraved in a delicate pattern by our artisans. It can be done as pictured here, or the design can be modified to suit your personal style. Options for engraving include a wheat or swirl pattern, or any other type of geometric design. The filigree can also be customized to help you make this ring your own, and to help you create the perfect ring to represent your relationship. Custom Hand Engraving.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
