14k Yellow Gold Custom Marquise Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #104783 $4,520 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The client already had the diamond he wanted to use for the center, and after viewing some of the rings on display in our showroom, he had a good idea about how he wanted the finished piece to turn out. To help him finalize the design, we created some detailed digital models in CAD, and he also came back in to see a wax model in person before giving final approval to move the ring into production. Marquise Center
At the center of this piece is a 1.03 carat marquise cut diamond that the client provided. The stone is oriented to sit lengthwise across the band, allowing it to lie in line with the finger when worn. There are six platinum prongs holding the stone in place, with one at each tip and two on either side to create a sense of balance and provide a secure hold. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Halo
Surrounding the center diamond is a halo of small round diamonds, all of which are shared prong set in platinum. The client requested this particular setting style for the halo because he liked the sense of spikiness it created, and he evaluated several different size options for the halo diamonds before settling on this one, which produced just the look he was after. Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this design, you could choose to change the size or cut of the center diamond, or you could even use a different type of gemstone all together. Sapphires are an especially popular choice as alternatives to diamonds in the central position in engagement rings, and they come in a wide range of colors to allow you to work in a personal detail as well as a dramatic color contrast.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
