14k Yellow Gold Custom Three Stone Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103401 $10,307 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
To being the custom design process, the client contacted us online to share his inspiration pieces and thoughts for the new ring. We used the information he gave us to develop a unique design for him, and he requested only a few minor modifications before giving his approval to move the ring into production.
Three-stone Setting
The emerald cut diamond provided by the client is 2.62 carats, and it’s held in a four prong platinum setting in the center of a three-stone design. On either side of this gorgeous stone sit trapezoid diamonds, both of which are also prong set and that total 0.55 carats combined. The client was initially unsure whether to go with emerald cut or trapezoids on the side, but he eventually decided he liked the way the tapering shape of the trapezoids facilitated the transition into the narrower band below. Diamond Halo and Accents
All three stones in the center setting are surrounded by a halo of bright cut set diamonds, and this halo follows the outer contours of each stone, adding a truly glamorous flair to the piece. Round diamonds are also channel set down the shank shoulders, tapering along with the band to perfect fill the space available.
Milgrain and Hand Engraving
Milgrain beading lines the diamonds in the halo, as well as the diamond accents and custom hand-engraved sections on the band below. This detail is also present on the arches beneath the main setting, helping to tie all areas of the piece together. As a finishing touch, beautiful patterns of custom hand engraving cover the fronts of the band and the top below the accent diamonds all the way down nearly to the bottom.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
