Center Setting and Diamond Accents
The four white gold prongs that hold the main stone in this ring emerge from the ornate filigree surrounding the center, opening just enough space for the one carat round brilliant cut diamond to nestle comfortably within. The setting rises just a bit above the level of the rest of the band, placing the diamond in a prominent position without raising the profile of the ring too high. Diamond Engagement Rings
Just outside of each prong, a round diamond is bezel set in white gold. Between each pair of these and a little further down the band on both sides sit two smaller round accent diamonds that are also bezel set. On the ring fronts, a cluster of three bezel set diamonds fills that same space. A line of bright cut set diamonds also extends from the underside of each of the larger bezel set accents, and these curve around the outside of the smaller accents before meeting at a point almost half-way down each shank shoulder. Filigree and Milgrain
The bezel set diamond accents are all integrated within an ornate scroll filigree that forms the shank shoulders. This helps produce the vintage overtones that the design exhibits, and the milgrain beading that runs along each bezel setting as well as the filigree pieces only adds to this effect. All together, the accent diamonds in this design total 0.76 carats, and the lines of bright cut set diamonds also form the borders of the filigree section.
