This stunning engagement ring features a round champagne diamond prong set in rose gold, with a smaller round champagne diamond on each side, just outside the white diamond halo. It also includes diamond, citron, and hand-engraved accents on the band, and it was made for a client from Seattle, WA, who had his friend act as a go-between for much of the process in order to keep it a secret from his fiancee-to-be. Champagne Diamonds
The main stone in this ring is a 1.13 carat round brilliant cut champagne diamond that we took from an existing ring the client provided and reset here. Its lovely glow is complemented nicely by the warmth of the 14k rose gold setting, and the two smaller round champagne diamonds on the shank shoulders bring a nice sense of balance to the main setting. Although white diamonds are likely what you think of first when considering engagement rings, these diamonds actually come in several different shades including pink, brown, blue, gray, and the champagne seen here. Choosing to go with one of these alternatives is a great way to give your piece a more unique and distinctive look while still sticking with the diamond as the traditional centerpiece of the ring.
Diamond Halo and Accents
A halo of round bright cut set white diamonds surrounds the larger main stone, and its hexagonal shape provides a nice counterpoint to the round diamonds that make up the rest of the center setting. This is not the only contrast the halo introduces, however, as the brilliant white of its diamonds helps highlight the lovely color of the larger stones.
Below the smaller champagne diamonds, a row of round bright cut set diamonds runs down each shank shoulder to just below the mid-point on the band. These are lined with milgrain, as are the diamonds in the halo, which gives the piece some vintage flair and also frames the stones beautifully. Halo Engagement Rings
Citrons and Hand Engraving
The fronts of the band, as well as the top section below where the diamond accents stop, is covered with a beautiful hand-engraved scroll pattern. This reinforces the vintage themes introduced earlier, and it is lined with milgrain beading as well to create a nice, finished look.
Tucked below the side champagne diamonds on both ring fronts are bezel set round citrons wrapped in curves of metal that resemble an infinity symbol. These add some peek-a-boo sparkle to the piece, and their deep yellow color stands out without being overpowering.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
