Although he never visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, we were able to share highly-detailed CAD models of his ring with him online, and he asked for slight clarification on the size of the side stones before giving his approval for us to begin production.
Center Setting
The dazzling diamond at the top of this ring is round brilliant cut and 4.50 carats. It’s held in a four prong white gold setting with wide open sides that allow for a clear view of the stone from every angle. The prongs follow the contours of the diamond almost exactly on the way up, helping to highlight its perfect shape while placing it in prime position, sitting directly over the relatively narrow band below. Accent Stones
On each shank shoulder, six round brilliant cut diamonds are shared prong set in white gold, and their contours define the outer limits of the band in the areas they cover. This brings wonderful added sparkle to the ring, helping to accentuate the beauty of the larger stone at the top while also creating a truly glamorous feel. Conflict Free Diamonds
The main concern the client had after viewing our models was ensuring that the side stones be the right size proportionally to complement the center. We advised him on the options for staying with this size or going larger, as we felt that slightly larger side stones would still work, but going too much larger would begin to take away from the center. Ultimately, he decided to go with the proportions in our initial models, and he was very happy with the way the piece turned out.
