18k Yellow Gold Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #196 $5,557 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Diamond Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.65 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s held in place by four white gold prongs that all originate from the same spot on the band directly below the diamond. The path the prongs take up to the spot where they meet the stone causes them to form V shapes on both ring fronts, and their smooth, polished surface stands in stark contrast to the diamond-lined shank shoulders on either side. The prongs are also slightly squared at the top, and this adds another level of complexity by contrasting with the perfectly round diamond they hold. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
There are small, round bright cut set diamonds running down the top and front surfaces of the shank shoulders all the way to the mid-point on each side. These are lined with milgrain beading, and they taper as the band does, with the largest stone at the top just where the shank meets the side of the center setting. Unique Engagement Rings Bellevue
The band continues to taper beyond where the diamonds stop, reaching its narrowest point across the bottom of the piece. It includes a bridge piece that maintains the curvature of the main part of the ring and passes below the center setting, and this also forms the base of the center setting.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
