Center Setting
The diamond at the center of this ring is one carat, round brilliant cut, and held in place by four white gold prongs that meet the stone at the compass positions. This helps integrate the main setting smoothly with the ornate design on the shank shoulders below, as these prongs grow directly out of that pattern.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
There are bright cut set diamonds lining all of the sections of the top half of the ring, and these taper in size to fit in the space available. They extend out farther than the center diamond, but their small size and the brilliant white of the metal they’re all set in helps emphasize the beauty of the center stone even more rather than taking away from it. All of the accent diamonds in this ring are lined with milgrain beading, adding to the vintage aesthetic already present as a result of the intricate detailing of the top of the band. Both the diamonds and milgrain continue down to the mid-point on each side of the ring, bringing a wonderful sparkle and decorative feel to the piece.
Custom Hand Engraving
The fronts of the ring are covered with elegant hand engraving in a swirling scroll pattern all the way around, with only a small space left blank at the bottom for sizing purposes. This further enhances the vintage themes found elsewhere, while simultaneously mirroring the elegant lines of the pattern on the top of the ring. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
