Floral Center
The small round diamond at the center of the main setting in this ring is bezel set, and it stands out despite its small size thanks to the contrast produced by the surrounding blue sapphires. There are five of these, and they’re all marquise cut, with a total carat weight of 0.62 when taken together. Diamond Engagement Rings
The way the sapphires are arranged around the diamond resembles a flower, and their rich blue color contrasts wonderfully with the diamond in the middle, as well as the brilliant white platinum that makes up the rest of the ring.
Band Design
The inspiration for the body of this ring was taken from another custom piece we made and that these clients found on our website. They wanted to work wings into their piece in some way, but in order to avoid creating something too cumbersome or extravagant, they decided to try working the wing design into the fronts of the ring.
The rope-like pattern running along the top of the band was also borrowed from an inspiration piece, but the way it’s used here is slightly different from its place in the original. This combination of features makes this ring a wonderful example of the ways our team can work with you to draw on other example pieces to find the perfect combination of features to make your dream ring.
Custom Wedding Sets
While this piece is beautiful in its own right, it’s even more stunning when worn with the companion wedding band. That’s because the two were made to fit together perfectly, with the petals of the flower sliding gracefully into the design on the top of the wedding ring. The small diamonds at the center of both of these pieces mirror each other beautifully, and the added contrast of the yellow gold highlights on the wedding ring with the blue of the sapphires is the perfect finishing touch.
