The ring you see here, along with a matching men’s band, were designed for a couple right here in Washington. It was their goal to construct a set of rings based on traditional Celtic designs. We achieved this by incorporating elements of the Celtic knot into each ring, which serves to unite both pieces despite their strong differences.
This ring pictured here is the woman’s ring. It was crafted from 14k white gold, representing an attractive and affordable alternative to platinum. The center gemstone is a round brilliant cut diamond mounted in a six-prong setting. Her favorite gemstone was the purple amethyst, so she had us mount a pair of triangle-cut amethysts on either side of the main stone to add a bit of color and strong contrast to the final piece.
