You can begin the custom design process by visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out to us online. We have a team of skilled designers who can guide you and offer suggestions as you work to customize your piece, and we can even grow a wax model of your unique design for you to examine in person before we cast your ring in metal.
Bezel Set Diamond
At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set in 18k white gold. This setting style both keeps the profile of the ring low and protects the diamond from the rigors of everyday wear. It also contributes significantly to the contemporary overtones of the design with the way it accentuates the perfectly circular cut of the diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is widest at the bottom, gradually tapering as it moves towards the top. This is another contemporary element, and it helps intensify the pop of the center stone by increasing the size difference between it and the width of the band when they are closest to each other.
Small round diamonds are bright cut set all the way down each shank shoulder, ending at the three-quarter point on each side of the band. These gradually increase in size moving away from the center to fill the space available, and they bring a glamorous flair to the piece with their exceptional sparkle.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
