Custom Diamond And Brushed Metal Engagement Ring
Item #100050Engagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
At the center of this ring is a one carat cushion shaped diamond, and it’s held in place by two white gold prongs that arise naturally from the split shank to wrap around the stone, meeting the diamond in the middle of the top and bottom sides. The twisting motion of the band as it transitions into the center setting contrasts nicely with the squared shape of the diamond, helping to highlight the elegant lines of the cushion cut. Two-tone Band and Finishes
Although the band is made entirely from 14k white gold, one side of it is plated while the other side is not. This creates a subtle two-tone look, with the unplated side exhibiting the champagne color of the natural metal. The plated side is brilliant white, and this difference is highlighted further by the use of contrasting finishes on the two sections. The unplated side is brushed, while the plated side is polished, and these two divergent textures bring out different elements of each type of metal. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
The dividing line of the two sections on the band is the life edge of the shank, which runs all the way around the ring. This detail helps give the piece a subtle contemporary flair, and it also seems to lead naturally into the split in the shank as it nears the center setting.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
