Custom Diamond And Hand Engraved Engagement Ring
Item #102445 $3,384 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Using the elements he picked out, our team created a unique ring for him and shared the details of it through the online workroom. He loved the design we came up with, and just to be sure, he came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to see a wax model of the piece before giving his final approval to move it into production.
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 1.01 carat round brilliant cut diamond is framed beautifully by four white gold double prongs. The setting rises just enough above the cathedral shank to help the diamond stand out, while also providing plenty of protection from everyday wear and tear. The fronts of the setting are open as well, and this allows for a wonderful view of the entire stone. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The shoulders of the shank each hold three round bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain for just an extra touch of sparkle. The milgrain brings a bit of classical flair to the piece, and it also serves to frame and highlight the accent diamonds. It actually extends down past the diamonds as well, running the entire way around the band to give the piece an elegant and complete look.
Custom Filigree and Hand Engraving
Except for a tiny section at the very bottom, the remainder of the band is covered with beautiful custom engraving in a swirling organic pattern. This ties in nicely with the hand-made rose gold filigree that fills the space below the shoulders of the shank and the main setting, and its exquisite quality is possible thanks to the skill of our expert artisans.
Our Master Artisans add engraving as the final step in the production process, and because they do it all by hand under a bench microscope, they can reproduce almost any design or pattern you’d like to see, depending on the amount of space available. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
