Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102594 $13,450 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
To begin the process, the client shared an image of a ring she wanted to base her design on. However, she had some clear ideas about how she wanted to adjust it to make it more her own. We modified our CAD models until we had everything exactly the way she wanted it, and she came into our showroom to view a wax model before giving final approval to move the project into production. Asscher Cut Diamond
The center diamond in this piece is a 2.72 carat Asscher cut stone, and its lovely lines are complemented nicely by the placement of the four platinum double prongs holding it in place. An Asscher cut bears some resemblance to an emerald cut, but it is always square and it features a higher crown with a smaller table. It also displays a beautiful pattern of concentric squares when viewed from the top down. Diamond Engagement Rings
Asscher cut diamonds have only recently begun making a comeback, and they are still mostly found in older pieces. The use of one here helps give the piece a decidedly vintage aesthetic, and its square shape contrasts nicely with the curves of the other diamonds in the ring to create a satisfying overall balance. Diamond and Filigree Accents
A half moon diamond sits on either side of the center setting, helping to expand on the sparkle of the main stone. These diamonds are oriented with their flat side up against the Asscher cut, and this eases the transition into the more fluid, organic elements of the band design.
Just below the half moon diamonds, three marquise shaped diamonds are bezel set on each shank shoulder. These are arranged to fan out, with their points all coming together in the center and two diamonds cradling the curved side of the half moon accents. As a finishing touch, a delicate scroll filigree fills the space below the diamonds on the shank shoulders, adding a nice organic touch to the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
