The one carat old European cut diamond at the center of this ring is held in a tension setting that forms out of the two ends of the cathedral shank as they rise up to meet it. It’s a delicate and open style that allows the full beauty of the diamond to take center stage, and it also ensures that plenty of light can reach the stone from all sides. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds run from just below the mid-point on the band all the way up the sides of the center setting. These also line the fronts of the band in the same area, and they continue around the circular piece that sits below the main diamond and unites the two sides of the shank.
These diamonds are all lined with milgrain beading, and this, coupled with the bright cut setting and the delicate nature of the band, help to give this piece an unmistakably vintage flair. Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
