Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #1476 $5,958 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
After discussing various diamond and setting options, we developed an initial design for him and shared it through the online workroom we set up to manage the project. He requested some changes, and we incorporated them into the model so he could see what it would look like before moving forward. We repeated this cycle until he was sure the design was perfect, and only then did we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Center Diamond
At the center of this ring is a 0.65 carat Star 129 diamond, and the openness of the four prong white gold setting holding it in place allows it to take in as much light as possible. This amplifies the brilliance of the gem, taking full advantage of the 129 precisely-placed facets to reflect light back out in all directions. The Star 129 cut is considered to be the most brilliant, and the client specifically wanted this type of stone to ensure the ring would be spectacular.
Wrapped Shank and Diamond Accents
The shank begins as one piece, but it quickly splits as it moves up from the bottom, becoming two strands that curve out and then back over each other close to the main setting. This criss-cross pattern leads directly into the intertwining wrapped halo surrounding the main diamond, giving the piece a fluid grace as well as some classical flair.
A row of round bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain begins below the half-way point on one of the strands, and these run continuously up into the halo as well. All of the accent diamonds are lined with milgrain beading, and the presence of the diamonds on the top strand helps highlight the movement of the strands as they twist around each other. Custom Engagement Rings
This is an extremely popular design, and it has been customized by a few other customers over the years. Some have incorporated different metals to create a two-tone effect, while others have added diamonds or hand-engraving. There are plenty of other options to consider, though, and our experts will show you as many examples and variations as you’d like until you’re sure we’ve captured the look you’re after.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.

I completely enjoyed my experience with Joseph's. From my initial inquiries to receiving the custom designed ring, Joseph's communication was fantastic. I never felt any pressure, unlike several other places I looked. With Joseph's, I always felt like I was in charge of a team that was working very hard to deliver exactly what I wanted.
